The arm-protecting covering according to the main patent also comprises a protective sleeve for the forearm whose inside is provided with a cushioning and is integrally formed from a curing thermoplastic, for example high molecular weight polyethylene, polypropylene or nylon. The supplementary invention claims protection for the facts that the integral protective sleeve has an essentially cylindrical shaft part and a part, ending conically at the front, of about one fifth to one tenth of the mean overall length, and that the front part can be formed slightly outward-curving or includes a circular or polygonal plane front face with radii of curvature of 25 to 35 mm, the essentially cylindrical shaft part being provided with an elongate protuberance as a bite-on bead which takes up about one half to three quarters of the mean overall length and whose height is about one quarter to one eighth of the mean diameter of the protective sleeve. <IMAGE>
