The invention relates to an assembly housing, which is bolted on a flywheel housing of an internal combustion engine and is centred about the drive wheel of a camshaft. An alternator is bolted on the other end of the assembly housing, which carries the alternator. A wheel-like drive part, provided with a flange, is bolted concentrically on the drive wheel of the camshaft and supported by means of a journal in a depression on the front end of the camshaft. The wheel-like drive part has a bell-shaped flange on its end opposite the journal, which flange ends in a ring with internal toothing, which meshes with a spur gear on a drive shaft of the alternator.
