The invention relates to a portable loading ramp, especially for lorries. This ramp facilitates the loading and unloading of lorries with articles of product when use is made of transport barrows in the form of sack barrows. The invention solves the problem of enabling a single person to handle a ramp of this generic type, even if the length of the ramp is, for example, 5 metres, thus causing problems of space and weight, by an arrangement whereby the ramp consists of at least two parts (6, 7) which, when the ramp is not in use, can be completely separated from each other - in the example shown in Fig. 3, by plug-in connections (8 to 15). The running surface of the ramp preferably consists of webs oriented perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis of the ramp. <IMAGE>
