PURPOSE:To simplify the discrimination of the permitted number of pipes to be loaded such as steel pipes loaded on a ship by equipping a discrimination means comparing the distance between the center of a pipe and the inwall of a ship's hold with the radius of the pipe and finding the coordination data indicating the shape of the inwall of the ship's by an input device. CONSTITUTION:Coordination data for the inwall of a ship's hold and data for pipe diameter are inputted from an input device and stored in a data part 5. Horizontal and vertical counters in a processing part 3 are reset. Then a distance (d) and a radius (r) are squared respectively and d<2> and r<2> are compared. If d<2>>r<2>, the said horizontal counter is added (plus 1) and, in case of d<2r<2>, the vertical counter is added (plus 1). Whether the number of loaded pipes reaches a fixed upper limit or not is checked by the top of the inwall and, when the number is less than the upper limit, the said calculation and discrimination are continued. The permitted number of pipes to be loaded is displayed by outputting the obtaind calculation value (by the horizontal and vertical counters) through an output device 7. |
