PURPOSE:To obtain a single channel frequency meter which eliminates the need for differentiation circuits and makes stable operation by collating the number of the pulses produced in correspondence to the crest value of input pulses. CONSTITUTION:When the detected output X1 from a radiation detector 1 or the like rises to a set level or above, a comparison pulse X2 is outputted from the 1st comparator 2, and at the falling edge of the pulse X2, a pulse X10 is outputted from a waveform shaping circuit 11 and is applied to the terminal J of a JK type FF for collation of number of pulses. In the same way, the pulse X11 outputted of a waveform shaping circuit 12 at the rising edge of the comparison pulse X3 from the 2nd comparator 3 of a high set value is applied to the terminal K of the FF, and only the pulse X10 is generated when the output X1 is at the level between both set values. The ANDed pulse of this and the output Q of an FF 14 which attains the high level only when the number of pulses is a 1 is outputted from an AND gate 15, and this provides a frequency pulse. The single channel frequency meter making stable operation is provided by this constitution having no need for differention circuits of poor noise resistant stability. |
