<p>An improved apparatus (10) for supporting a sensor housing (20) on a surface to which vibrations are applied having mounts (36) fixedly coupled to the surface and brackets (22) fixedly coupled to the housing with a vibration isolation material (28) supported between the mounts (36) and the brackets (22) to improve the vibration isolation to the housing (20) by placing at least one half of the material (28) of the apparatus (10) in compression responsive to linear vibrations along at least two of the axes of the housing (20).</p> |
