Diaphragm spring friction clutch for motor vehicles, in which the diaphragm spring tongues (16) of the diaphragm spring (15) are provided with bent-off radial edges (17, 18) or the whole width of the tongue is bent out of the plane of the diaphragm spring (15) (Figure 4 (not shown)). The diaphragm spring tongues (16) act in operation as fan blades and deliver a cooling air current into the friction clutch (10).
