<p>In operation of control devices, for electrically propelled vehicles such as electric locomotives or locomotive-hauled trains, all mechanical-and-electrical control commands and data are optically prepared in the vehicle, with content transmitted by light conductor cables. The latter are connected in series between vehicles to be electrically effected by preceding opto-electrical transducers. Electric coupling of light cables between vehicles is effected inductively via transmission coils (113) screened against disturbing electromagnet influences. These are pref. brought into an optimal transmission coupling position with the vehicle coupling. Low signal levels can be reliably transmitted between vehicles.</p> |
