PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of a stripe due to the printing irregularity between dots and to reduce the lowering in printing quality even when a dot is out of order, by providing an allotting dot altering means 30 for altering the allotting dot of the column data concerned on the basis of the judged result of a column judging means. CONSTITUTION:The receiving data 1 received by a main control part 1' through an interface part 2' are altered to the dot allotment of a drawing A by an (n-x) dot allotting control part 5 to be sent to a column judge circuit 20 judging the even-numbered position and odd- numbered position of the column concerned. An even and odd numbered column judge circuit 20 judges the even-numbered column and odd-numbered column of the data 2 sent out from the (n-x) dot allotting control pate 5 and, in the case of the even-numbered column, the conversion data corresponding to the dot allotment of the drawing A are written in a line buffer 8 as they are. In the case of the odd-numbered column, the conversion data of the dot allotment of the drawing A are further altered as shown by a drawing B by an allotting dot altering circuit 30 to be written in the line buffer 8. When the practice mentioned above corresponding to one line is finished, the main control part 1' indicates a printing control part 9 while controlling a line feed control part 6 and a space control part 7 to control the printing processing of the printing data in the line buffer 8 in a printing head 10. |
