PURPOSE:To automate coiling start of a metallic sheet perfectly by moving a metallic sheet guide roller vertically and thereby holding the tip of the sheet by changing the admission angle of the metallic sheet to the coiling axis. CONSTITUTION:A steel sheet M is introduced by a guide roller 1 and catches the tip of a slip sheet P hanging from between both-side guide plates 21 after unrolled from a slip sheet roll P0, and enters a movable guide roller 3 and further proceeds almost horizontally to a coiling axis 2. The tip of the steel sheet M is hung on five rollers, etc. of a guide mechanism 6, and rolled in a belt 5 that is circulated by rotation of the coiling axis 2 and coiled around the coiling axis 2. At the same time, the guide roller 3 is moved by a vertical shifting mechanism 13, etc. and a horizontal shifting mechanism 20, etc. to upper right position shown by a two-dot chain line. The rear part of the steel sheet M comes into contact with the tip of the steel sheet M at an obtuse angle to hold the tip, and coiling is made successively. Next, the guide roller 3 is returned to the original position and the guide mechanism is freed from guiding of coiling and moved to a position shown by a two-dot chain line by a retreating mechanism 7, and the coil on the coiling axis 2 is held down by a pressure roller 8 for coiling. |
