PURPOSE:To prevent the leucocytozoonosis of chicken, by feeding the chicken with the feed mixed with processed garlic. CONSTITUTION:Leucocytozoonosis of chicken can be prevented by feeding the chicken with a feed mixed with a processed garlic such as garlic powder, essential oil component of garlic, etc. Leucocytozoonosis is an important chicken disease caused by the infection with nematode through a mosquito of Cerotopogonidae family. Diaryl disulfide and diaryl trisulfide in the processed garlic have strong controlling effect against the imago of mosquito, and the luecocytozoonosis can be prevented by feeding the compounds to a chicken.
