PURPOSE:To pivotally support an arm of open end square shape to a retainer member, press fixing a machined plate material, and retreat the retainer member to a position, not disturbing work, when said retainer member is not required, in a portal wood multihead borer. CONSTITUTION:A machine body frame 1 is vertically provided in the left and right of a base mount 2. A machined plate material is transferred by a belt, driven by conveying belt operating sprockets 119, 119, pressed by a pressing element 101 and adapted to a stopper 109 to stop. Then a pneumatic pressure cylinder 30 is operated to rotate an open end square shaped arm 22 through a shaft 23 and suspend a retainer member 6, at its retreat position, below the machine body frame 1. Then a pneumatic cylinder 37 and the like are operated to press fix the machined plate material. |
