PURPOSE:To provide a feeder which allows the returning of the tip margin of a recording paper with the cutting action of a cutter by inverting a driving roller by a force when it is used to drive the cutter with a transmission member provided between the cutter and the driving roller. CONSTITUTION:A solenoid 14 is operated to turn a surpport plate 12 clockwise with a lever 15 on a shaft 11 so that an upper blade 13 is lowered to cut a recording paper 1 with a lower blade 9. At the same time, a sector-shaped gear 18 fixed on the shaft 11 turns clockwise to rotate an intermediate gear 22 and a return gear 21. But a driving roller 2 fails to turn because idling by a one-way clutch 20. Upon the end of the cutting of the recording paper 1, the upper blade 13 rises turning with a spring 16. The sector-shaped gear 18 also turns counterclockwise to cause the return gear 21 to turn through the intermediate gear 22 and the one-way clutch 20 works to drive the driving roller 2 in reversal. |
