PURPOSE:To prevent the conspicuousness of pattern electrodes and to prevent the inside surface reflection of a liquid crystal panel by specifying the thicknesses and refractive indices of transparent insulating films, transparent conductive films and oriented films. CONSTITUTION:The transparent insulating films 2 to prevent alkali ion elution, the transparent conductive films 3 and the oriented films 4 are successively laminated on a pair of glass substrates 1 sandwiching a liquid crystal 5. The thicknesses of the films 2 from a good visual angle direction are set at 870-920Angstrom , the films 3 at 760-810Angstrom or 1,520-1,620Angstrom and the films 4 at 730-78Angstrom . The refractive indices of the films 2 are set at 1.5-1.55, the films 3 at 1.7-1.75 and the films 4 at 1.6-1.8. Transparent plates subjected to an antireflection treatment are preferably adhered to the observation side of polarizing plates 7 on the substrates 1. The conspicuousness of the electrode parts and the inside surface reflection are prevented and the visibility is improved according to this constitution. |
