PURPOSE:To remove the limitation from a point of space setting and eliminate the necessity for using a scale magnifying mechanism, by forming a window in a frame unit for the longitudinal movement mechanism of a tool holder not to interfere with the bearing device of a magazine disc and providing said tool holder to said frame unit. CONSTITUTION:A supporting member 12 is fixed to a column 2 fixed to a bed and mounted with a pair of guide rods 15. A frame unit 13, having a window 13a not to interfere with a bearing 18, is longitudinally movably guided and supported radially of a magazine disc 9 to the rods 15, and a tool holder 14 is provided in the front of said frame unit 13. The holder 14 is provided with a pair of holding pawls 14a and control pin, and a longitudinally moving cylinder device 16 of the tool holder is fixed to the rear end of the supporting member 12. Rotary indexing is performed to locate a necessary tool 10 immediately before the holder 14, and the frame unit 13 is moved forward, then the required tool 10 is held by the holder 14, taken out to the outside frame the disc 9 and located below the axial line of a spindle. |
