PURPOSE:To contrive to make a catalyst body small by a method wherein a part of the combustion gas is blown-off through a direct blast port without being past through the catalyst body under the condition, that the combustion is normal and consequently odor and the like are left out of consideration, in the combustion equipment which blows-off combustion gas produced with liquid fuel as hot air into a room. CONSTITUTION:At the combustion equipment, in which a fan 3 actuates to flow air flow along a blast passage 5 reaching to a louvre 4 arranged at the front wall 1b of an outer frame 1 and combustion gas produced at a combustion furnace 2 is sucked out by means of said air flow and blowed-off from the louvre 4 into the room, the catalyst body 8 with honey-comb structure for combustion gas purification is provided at the opening 7 of a sucking-out means 9 for promoting the sucking-out of the combustion gas. In addition, a gas collecting tube 10 for collecting the combustion gas to the opening 7 is provided at the furnace interior side of the opening 7. The lower part of the gas collecting tube 10 is served as a direct blast opening 11 for combustion gas. A direct blast port 12 for the remaining part of combustion gas, which does not pass through the direct blast opening 11, is formed on an upper furnace chamber wall 2a and communicated with the direct blast opening 11. A part of combustion gas is led through said direct blast port 12 to the blast passage 5 when combustion proceeds normally. |
