PURPOSE:To prevent turbulent flame from generating and reduce combustion noise of the burner by a method wherein a conical flame stabilizer with small holes and a flame stabilizing ring equipped in such a manner as to cover the primary straightening vane arranged on the outer periphery of a fuel injection nozzle, which is provided in an air blast tube. CONSTITUTION:Fuel oil is jetted from a nozzle 6 and ignited with an ignition rod 7. At the same time, a part of combustion air, which is flowed with the rota tion of a fan 2 into a draft passage formed between a fan case 3 and a burner base 1, is straightened by the primary straightening vane 9 and, after that, supplied in the flame stabilizer 8 toward the direction of the extension of the center axis line of the nozzle 6. The remaining part of said combustion air is straightened by the secondary straightening vane 12 provided between the blast tube 5 and the flame stabilizer 8 and uniformly supplied to the small holes 10. As a result, because said fuel oil is uniformly mixed with sais combustion air, which is supplied from the primary straightening vane 9 and supplied from the small holes 10 toward the direction at nearly right angles to the extension of the center axis line of the nozzle 6 and as well as short flame 18 is formed at a negative pressure part 17 produced between the small holes 10 and the flame stabilizing ring 11, the continuation of bombustion is obtained. |
