PURPOSE:To obtain a deliberate control of an air conditioner using a cooler connected to a car engine by selecting a control mode different in the rate of operation of the cooler in accordance with detected signals of a driving state. CONSTITUTION:For example, when the water temperature of an engine is over 96 deg.C, an electromagnetic OFF command is issued from a computer 5 for lighting a compressor OFF mode lamp 14d. Meanwhile, when the water temperature is under 96 deg.C and a suction negative pressure P1 is over 600mm.Hg for coasting, an A/C mode 14a is used as a commendable mode, and controlled by a set on/off rate. Furthermore, when P1 is under 600mm.Hg (P1<600mm.Hg) and the output P2 of the second pressure sensor is under 50mm.Hg for a high load operation, the electromagnetic clutch OFF command is issued. When P2 is over 500mm.Hg (P2>500mm.Hg), an ECO1 mode 14b equivalent to 30% operation or an ECO2 mode 14c equivalent to 60% operation is decided on the basis of the relation between P2 and the water temperature WT. |
