PURPOSE:To simplify a modem and to reduce its price by providing minimum irreducible analog circuits, and controlling the modem directly by a microcomputer on the equipment side of facsimile, etc. CONSTITUTION:A microcomputer scans a limiter 0-detection part 21 to detect a 0-cross point, whose position is discriminated by a 4-bit comparator 23 to follow up timing digitally or to calculate timing variation and also perform those operations by interrupting a microcomputer for equipment control. Thus, the IC circuit is simplified extremely. |
