THERMISTOR TEMPERATURE DETECTOR

PURPOSE:To eliminate dispersion in resistance values by trimming the surface electrode and a part of a disk shaped thermistor element into a concentric circle from the outer surface to the inside. CONSTITUTION:The thermistor temperature detector is enclosed in a metal in a container 3 having a cylindrical shape. A lower surface electrode 2 is closely contacted with the bottom of the metal container 3, and an upper surface electrode 2' is connected with a terminal plate 5 through a metal receiving plate 4 and a coil spring 6. The disk shaped thermistor element 1 is a temperature sensing element. A part of said disk shaped thermistor element 1 is trimmed into the concentric circle from the outer surface to the inside so as to provide a trimmed part 11 shown by the Figure. In this constitution, the resistance value is adjusted, and the device, which has stabilized characteristics and no dispersion in resistance values can be obtained.
