PURPOSE:To increase processing performance while shortening a time required for multiple address connection by transmitting and receiving control information on terminating terminals between an originating terminal and a switchboard by using a simple and consolidated signal. CONSTITUTION:A control signal in signal form 1 to be displayed coherently consists of a synchronizing signal 2, function specifying information 3 specifying the kind of the control information, terminating terminal specifying information 4 showing which terminal the function of a signal specified by the information 3 relates to, and end information 5, and is transmitted and received between an originating terminal and a switchboard. For multiple address communication, the function specifying code 00000010 of a multiple address selection signal is sent to the switchboard as the control signal. Therefore, an optional terminating terminal is specified through easily operation. Further, one terminating terminal is specified by a one-bit signal, so the processing of the switchboard is reduced. |
