PURPOSE:To provide a stiff and inexpensive multilayer analysis film which can perform a rapid and simple measurement even if a liquid sample is not weighed accurately, by forming a control conveying layer containing serial gaps consisting of paper or unwoven cloth made of fibers, and one or more regeant layers. CONSTITUTION:A control conveying layer 3, containing serial gaps consisting of an inorganic polymer, which is water-impermeable or is not swelled with water, or of an uneven cloth (natural fiber, paper made from high-pressure polyethylene hydrophilically treated), is formed on one or more regeant layers 2 which are formed on a light transmitting impermeable support substance (polyester film) through soaking of a reagent in gelatine. A drop of a sample A such as serum is adhered to the layer 3, and the color development of the layer 2 is observed from a direction D of the support substance 1 through conveyance of the sample in a direction of an arrow mark B. A component in a sample is assayed by a colorimetric analysis. The sample is supplied to the layer 2 at a ratio of a specified amount per unit area, and this permits to perform an assay even if the sample is not weighed accurately. |
