PURPOSE:To obtain excellent air blast effect similar to natural wind by a method wherein a plurality of deflecting plates are pivotally supported to a blowing-off grill frame and connected to a control rod, which is, at the same time, connected through a grooved cam to a driving device in order to change the blowing-off angle of the deflecting plates cyclically. CONSTITUTION:When a direct current motor 4 is put in operation by closing a switch 8, the rotation of the output shaft 4a of the motor 4 is transmitted, after being reduced its speed by means of a worm 5 and a worm gear 6, to a camshaft 7b so as to rotate the grooved cam 7 toward the direction indicated with the arrow A. As a result, the deflecting control rod 3 is cyclinally moved right and left through a guide pin 3b engaging with the guide groove 7a of the grooved cam 7, resulting in controlling the wind direction C by pivoting the deflecting plates 1, the rear ends of which are connected to the control rod 3, about pins 1a pivotablly supported to the grill frame 2 in such a manner as indicated with the arrow D. In this case, the cycle for changing the air flow direction can be continuously controlled by means of a variable resistor 9. If the fixing of the air flow direction at the fixed direction is desired, the opening of the switch 8 at arbitrary moment is sufficient enough. |
