PURPOSE:To obtain small-sized low loss normal and reverse converting circuit by connecting a field coil to the AC input terminal of a mixed bridge formed of thyristors and diodes and an armature to the DC output terminal. CONSTITUTION:A field coil 25 is connected to one end of an AC input terminal of a mixed bridge having diodes 21, 22 and thyristors 23, 24, and an armature 26 is connected to the DC output terminal. The output signal of a controller 27 is applied to a gate of either thyristor 23 or 24 which is switched by a changeover switch 28. In this manner, a small-sized low loss normal or reverse circuit can be obtained. |
