PURPOSE:To read and transfer graphic data correctly in either directions of the hand scan of a reader, by adequately controlling the reversible counter of a writing circuit according to the direction of a direction discrimination signal. CONSTITUTION:A writing circuit 5 is provided with a reversible counter 11 which performs the addressing of a memory 6 in a direction X. When direction discrimination signals PX and MX show a positive direction, the contents of the reversible counter 11 are increased, synchronizing with movement pulses SCK, successively starting at an initial address, and when the signals PX and MX show a backward direction, the reversible counter 11 goes down successively starting at a final address. Therefore, even when the hand scan of a reader is done in either direction, graphic data is read and transferred correctly. |
