FILM FOR REGENERATING EDIBLE OIL

PURPOSE:To obtain the film for regenerating an edible oil with good filterability by molding pulp and an alkali treated modified zeolite type adsorbent into a sheet form. CONSTITUTION:5-95pts.wt. pulp and 95-5pts.wt. modified zeolite type adsorbent obtained by treating a zeolite type adsorbent such as activated clay or acidic clay with an alkaline substance such as sodium carbonate or sodium bicarbonate are molded into a film like form comprising one layer or more to obtain the film for regenerating an edible oil. When a used and deteriorated oil is poured onto the resulting film, the oil free from clay odor is obtained and the blackening of the film is reduced as well as the generation of air bubbles are low and a filtering time is shortened.
