PURPOSE:To facilitate the change and addition of transmission procedures and debug, etc. by storing a microprogram in an unvolatile RAM, and further by providing with loadong function of the microprogram. CONSTITUTION:A microprogram to be transmitted to a main storage device 3 and channel control words storing a command which transfers the microprogram are provided, to actuate to start a communication control device which provided with a special device address. The started communication control device transfers the channel control words by the operation of microprogram of a memory A10. Furthermore, the device senses the address of the microprogram on the main memory unit 3 by the data address of the channel control words, and transfers the microprogram to a memory B11 in the communication control device. When the transferring is completed, control of the microprogram in the communication control device is passed to the program of communication control by the memory B11 from the program of the memory A10. |
