PURPOSE:To stabilize the characteristics of a microwave integrated circuit installed in a metallic housing by equipping a radio wave absorber on the internal wall surface of the metallic housing wherein an electric field is nearly maximized, and forming part of a bias circuit on the radio wave absorber. CONSTITUTION:On an earth conductor 1 in a metallic housing 9, a dielectric substrate 2 and a radio wave absorber 10 are equipped, and an active element is connected to a microstrip 3 to form a micorwave integrated circuit. On the radio wave absorber 10, a strip conductor 11 is further formed, its one terminal is connected to a chip capacitor 6 through a wire 5, and the other terminal is connected to a through capacitor 8. This radio wave absorber 10 having the strip conductor 11 in an optical shape is equipped in the metallic housing 9 and at a position where an electric field is miximized, stabilizing the characteritiscs of the microwave integrated circuit. |
