PURPOSE:To obtain a modified PP film having improved vapor deposition ability of a metal and adhesiveness of an ink, by subjecting a specific polypropylene film modified with an unsaturated carboxylic acid to the corona discharge treatment. CONSTITUTION:(A) 90-60pts.wt. propylene-ethylene block coplymer is melt kneaded with (B) 10-40pts.wt. ethylenic polymer, preferably ethylene-butene- 1 random copolymer or low-density polyehylene, (C) an unsaturated carboxylic acid, e.g. acrylic acid or maleic acid, or a derivative thereof, e.g. maleic anhydride, and (D) 0.01-1pt.wt. organic peroxide, e.g. benzoyl peroxide, as a grafting reaction accelerator to give a modified PP composition. The resultant composition is then solely formed into a film or laminated on an unmodified PP film, and the surface of the modified PP is subjected to the corona discharge treatment in an N2 atmosphere to afford the aimed film. |
