PURPOSE:To miniaturize the whole, and to reduce man-hour and the material cost by minimizing an insulating distance between the upper end section of a high-tension coil and the upper yoke of a core and reducing external thrust in the axial direction. CONSTITUTION:Insulation grades at the neutral point sides can be lowered in the high-tension coils under graded insulation because the high-tension coils 41, 42 are distributed in the up-and-down direction from the center of a coil stack and wound and the upper and lower ends are used as the neutral point sides. Accordingly, the insulating distances S3, S4 among the upper and lower ends of the high-tension coils and the upper and lower yokes 21, 22 of the core can be equalized to the insulating distances is conventional devices, and the insulating distance S3 can be minimized. Since tap coil sections 61, 62 are formed at the upper and lower ends of the high-tension coils, the distribution of ampere-turns of the high-tension coils is symmetrized up and down even when the ampere- turns of a tap section change according to the position of a tap, and mechanical power in the axial direction working to the low-tension and high-tension coils is minimized even to excessive currents in the case of the short circuit of the transformer. |
