<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the maintenance of a dust collector against treatment of dust fume with a particle size of 1mum or less by adding mist generated in a mist generating apparatus to dust containing air being sent to a charging apparatus of a suction duct. CONSTITUTION:A charging apparatus 3 consists of a discharge electrode 31 and an earthing electrode 32 and, to the discharge electrode 31, D.C. current is applied by a high voltage electrode 33. Air containing oil mist and dust fume is flowed thereinto from a suction port 1 and charged when passed through the charging apparatus and filtered by a collecting apparatus 4 to be exhausted from an emitting port 2 as purified air. A mixture of fume flowed into the collecting apparatus 4 and mist generated in a mist generator 45 and supplied from a nozzle 44 is caught by an earthed main filter 41 and dropped onto a sub-filter 43. As described above, the fume containing a large amount of mist is washed off by oil mist.</p> |
