The furniture is made by connecting ladder-type pieces together using a junction piece (4). Cylindrical dowel pieces (12) are made to penetrate bored holes (7) in one of two risers (2a,2b) of the same ladder. These holes being made on each riser (5) with a constant vertical spacing (P) and in two parallel series. Removable traverses (8) can carry drawer guides and have a length equal to the spacing between two risers of the same ladder. The traverses also have a bottom groove (9) and a top groove (10) that form housings for the free ends of the cylindrical dowels. |
