<p>PURPOSE:To stop the supply of unnecessary electric power other than the electric power required for data holding at low electric power data holding by installing electric power detecting and unnecessary electric power supply stopping means. CONSTITUTION:Since a detecting signal R is not outputted from a power voltage detecting means 303 during an electric power source operates at normal operation voltage (Ex. 5V), a power switch 304 is ON and electric power is also supplied to a block 302. When low voltage data holding status is transferred by reducing power voltage (Ex. 3V), the detecting means 304 detects that the voltage is less than a prescribed level (Ex. 4V) and outputs a signal R, turning off the power switch 304 and stopping power supply to the block 302.</p> |
