<p>A changeover switch has one position where it places the coil of a relay in series with the supply to a tape recorder. The relay contact is in series with the record player mains supply. When the tape recorder automatic switch off circuit is activated the relay coil excitation ceases to switch off the record player. In its second position the switch places the relay coil in series with the record player supply so that when its automatic switch off circuit is operated the tape recorded is switched off. A second changeover switch allows an amplifier to be connected through the relay contact to be included in the automatic switch off circuits or to be connected directly to the mains supply. A third changeover switch has a position where the interconnection and slaving switch circuits are switched off whatever the position of the other switches.</p> |
