<p>The sprayer is mounted on a wheeled support, having a tank (2) for the spray liquid, a pump, and an accumulator from which the liquid is sprayed. The pump and accumulator form a single unit (3), the hand-operated air pump drawing air in from the tank (2) and delivering it under pressure into the chamber (4) of the accumulator and in opposition to pressure in the latter. The accumulator can have an air-filling valve in the top of the vessel. The pump can have a hollow stem (9) connected by pipe (12) to the tank, while in its piston is a spring-loaded valve. The actuating lever (16) of the pump works in a fork (15) on the end of the stem.</p> |
