<p>The machine extracts solid and liquid animal waste from deep narrow drainage ditches associated with battery farms. It operates in an extraction mode or a mixing mode, using a combined pumping and mixing boom (6) in the form of a jack (5)-operated lever arm with an intermediate fulcrum (4). The boom pivots about an horizontal axis, and is mounted on the free end of a similarly articulated (2) cantilever arm (1b) actuated by a second jack (3). The cantilever is mounted on a wheeled chassis (1a) with a coupling bar. The material is mixed en mass or in a closed recycling circuit, and is then pumped to a discharge pipe (10) feeding a tanker. Pumping may be effected by an archimedean screw enclosed by the boom and mixing by an exposed screw (8).</p> |
