The control device according to the invention for automatic machines comprises a control panel (10) which differs from previous control panels in having an operating-mode selection switch (64) for the optional setting of a specified operating mode and an automatic operating mode, and a specifying or input box (12). In addition to the customary indication elements (34 to 38) and pushbuttons (46 to 54), the specifying box (12) has a reset pushbutton (124) for returning a welding torch of the automatic machine to a starting position on a welding line on a workpiece and has two confirmation pushbuttons (120, 122) for confirming the positional or location data which have been defined for the welding torch or welding head on a number of points on the welding line by a procedure in which the welding torch can be guided progresively forwards and backwards in steps. <IMAGE> |
