PURPOSE:To use an optical phase information reader, where equal beam-shaped moire stripes are used, even for a small-size and deeper object, by scanning one- dimensional bright and dark points using a laser beam on the surface of the object. CONSTITUTION:A beam 2 from a laser source 1 is converted by a beam converter 5 to have stripe-shaped condensed points and is modulated by a grating 6 and is diffracted by a hologram 78 and is projected onto an object 8 by mirrors 9 and 10. This projected image is a one-dimensional pattern where bright points and dark points are arranged alternately at equal intervals, and this image is scanned in a grating form by the rotation of a disc 7. A reflection light 14 is diffracted through a hologram 73 similar to the hologram 78 by mirrors 11, 12, and 15 and is focused onto a one-dimensional image sensor 16. If the object is not a perfect plane, pitches of bright points of the grating pattern on the face of the object is irregular, and respective outputs of detecting elements of the sensor 16 are not uniform. |
