The tamper proof stopper has a base (2) to block an opening in a receptacle. It has an internal skirt (1) pressing against the inside of the opening. There is also an external skirt (5) forming a security band and tearable from the base (2). This matches the opening exterior and there is also a tongue (13) fitted to the base. This is formed by a non tearable part of the outer skirt. The outer skirt is joined to be torn along a peripheral line (6). The tongue (13) is formed by cross cut lines in the base.
