PURPOSE:To decrease the number of keys for input and to speed up the Kanji input speed, by providing file contained with data of Kanji configuration elements and character data of Kanji's having the said elements correspondingly. CONSTITUTION:When a key of ''TE(Chinese character)'' out of input keys 8 on a keyboard 31 is depressed, a key code signal i is produced and discriminated at a discrimination section 30. A retrieval readout section 26 references an address table 25 and stores a character code b1 of ''TE'', a reading data k1, a Kanji code b2 of ''DA(Chinese character)'', and its reading data k2, and a Kanji code b3 of ''GI(Chinese character)'', and its reading data k3, and ''TE'', ''DA'', and ''GI'' are displayed on a display device 1. When ''GI'' is desired, three input keys 34 are depressed. Then, the character of ''GI'' at the display location only remains. Next, when a reading key 11 is depressed, the reading data k3 of the register 16 reaches an audio conversion section 23 via an switching section 24 and voices ''Waza'' and ''Gi'' are outputted from a speaker 21. |
