ELECTRONIC CONTROLLER OF INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE USING CARBURETER

PURPOSE:To constantly enable the supply of a fuel in an optimum quantity irrespective of the change in the specification of the engine by providing a register capable of verying the period of a stage signal performing the control of a fuel electromagnetic valve of a carbureter and setting a stage period in matching with the response of the electromagnetic value. CONSTITUTION:An electronic controller includes an input and output circuit 108 having a reference register group 470 and an instantaneous register group 472. The instantaneous register is compared with the reference register in a time- divisional manner to perform the control of the fuel supply quantity. In this case, the instantaneous register group 472 is provided with a register having a counter function for counting the stage signal which performs the control of the electromagnetic valve for controlling the fuel supply quantity. The reference register group 470 is provided with a register for setting an optimum duty determining the opening time of the above electromagnetic valve, and a register for setting the stage period corresponding to the response speed of the above electromagnetic speed of the above electromagnetic valve with respect to the set optimum duty.
