PURPOSE:To obtain an electric energy by a method wherein the energy of the tidal current acting on the propeller is converted to the torque of the propeller to transmit it to an electric generator through a power shaft. CONSTITUTION:A hull 1 is sunk to a depth of about ten meters below the sea level by a balancer 14, is moored by utilizing chain retainers 15, while the propeller 5, equipped at the front surface of the hull, is rotated by the energy of the tidal current 16. The torque thereof is transmitted through the power shaft 3 of the electric generator 6 in a ship to convert the energy of the tidal current into the electric energy. The electric power thereof is led out from transmission terminals 8. |
