PURPOSE:To interchange fixtures in a short time in a general-purpose multi-spot welding machine by attaching fixtures on both sides of the upper base and making them rotatable. CONSTITUTION:An object 22 to be welded is placed on the fingers 21 of shuttle bars 20 and carried to a multi-spot welding machine 23 and welded by plural welding guns 39a and a back electrode 49a. When the shape and welding position of the object 22 to be welded are changed, fixture base segments 35 fitted with fixtures 40 provided with different welding guns 40a on upper and lower faces and fixtures 39 provided with welding guns 39a is rotated by 180 deg., and the second fixtures 40 is positioned to the lower face of a structue member 29 of the upper base 28. By this way, fixture corresponding to a new object to be welded can be interchanged quickly and welding operability can be improved. |
