<p>The press has metal bands with pressure chambers on either side. The bands are compressed to press chipboard panels, etc., via compressed air and/or heat charged compression plates. Sealing elements are fastened to the plate edges near the chambers, to form a seal between bands and plates. Circumferential channels (13) for a cooling- or heating medium are positioned in a vertical plane or below the sealing elements (11) on the compression plates (7,8).
