A practice wall for ball games has a front side which is uniformly curved at least about a single, vertical axis, and is preferably constituted by a curved, flexible plate which is secured to a solid wall of a building by supports which are adjustable in respect of their length. By appropriate adjustment of the lengths of the supports, the wall can be pivoted both about a vertical axis and about a horizontal axis, and its curvature can also be modified within certain limits. This curved practice wall has the advantage that a ball ejected from the centre of the curvature is always, irrespective of its point of impact on the practice wall, returned to the centre of curvature, so that the practising player does not waste time on collecting the ball.
