<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to provide the color display which is easy to observe so that the presence of a small reflecting body can be identified, by memorizing the amplitude level of the detected signal of a rotating detection type radar wherein PPI indication is performed, and performing the color display in the different colors based on the amplitude levels. CONSTITUTION:The amplitude value of the signal detected by an antenna part 1 of the rotary detecting type radar wherein the PPI indication is performed is converted from the analog data to the digital data in a memory control part 2 and stored in the address position in the memory corresponding to detected distance. Then the values are sequentially read out until the next writing time for every distance. The values are applied to a display part 4 wherein a spiral scan is performed in synchronization with the repetition of the read out of the memory together with a marker signal from a marker generating part 3. The different color signal, which is based on the amplitude predetermined by a color encoder, is generated, and the color display corresponding to the amplitude of the detected signal is performed on the CRT of the display part 4. Thus the display which can identify the presence of the small reflecting body and is easy to observe is performed.</p> |
