Leakage testing system for liq. filled tank - uses suction tubes for indicator gas, with flexible metal braiding at test points

The leak detecting system for liq. in a tank, is as in 2943949. It includes a suction tube passing through the side of the tank, enclosed by a braiding material, and connected to a monitoring or analysing point. A discharge tube through the wall of the tank and enclosed by an insulating layer has further tubes embedded in the insulation or inside the insulation but in contact with the discharge tube. These further monitoring tubes are also enclosed by a highly flexible metal braiding, which is porous to gases. The tubes can be used to convey an indicating gas to a test point.
