The invention relates to a floating wind-power installation equipped with a rotor capable of rotating about a horizontal axis. On the windward side of the rotor, the floating body carrying the wind-power installation has a pivot point situated outside the vertical axis of the installation and preferably moveable through about 90 DEG for at least one stay rope whose other end is immovably anchored in such a way that the floating body is able to swing, together with the wind-power installation, around the anchorage point. The displaceability of the pivot point is used as a means for adjusting the plane of the rotor with respect to the wind direction between a position transverse to the wind direction to one parallel to the wind direction. |
