PURPOSE:To measure the value of the antibody in a sample accurately and readily, by putting the sample having the antibody in the concave part of an agar plate having the antigen and sensitized red blood corpuscles, placing a complement film thereon, and measuring the diameter of an annular body generated on the agar plate. CONSTITUTION:The agar plate 1 including the antigen and the sensitized red blood corpuscles is prepared. Then the sample 3 including the antibody is injected in a sample injecting hole 2 provided at the central part. Thereafter, the complement film 4 (a symbol 6 is the complement and 5 is a support) is placed on the agar plate 1. They are left for about 16-24hr at about 2-6 deg.C, thereby performing the antigen antibody reaction based on a simple diffusing method. Then it is heated for about 1-5hr at about 34-37 deg.C, the sensitized red blood corpuscles in the unreacted regions 8 undergo hemolysis (hemolysin is not generated in the antigen antibody reacting region 7), the diameter of the annular body of nonhemolytic blood is measured, thereby obtaining the antibody value. If the antibody is included in the agar plate 1, the antigen in the sample can be measured. |
