PURPOSE:To plan to reduce the consumed electric power of the engine by a method wherein the ignition of a ignition plug is precluded when the fuel injection is stopped under a predetermined operational condition for the internal- combustion engine. CONSTITUTION:In a speed reducing condition wherein the engine is driven in a high speed and a throttle is totally closed, a fuel injection control circuit 30 obtains a fuel-cut signal Sfc in ''1'' level which means that the fuel injection should be stopped and stops the fuel injection. At the same time, the circuit 30 supplies the same signal Sfc to a ignition cut switch 13 in an igniter 10. Then, the ignition cut switch 13 is opened and an ignition signal Si outputted from an operation circuit 12 to a transistor 11 is cut. By this operation, the transistor 11 is not conducted and a high voltage is not generated in the secondary side of an ignition coil 40, therefore, the ignition is not effected and the consumed electric power may be conserved. |
